Jean-Claude Wolff, the founder and managing partner of Wolff & Partners SCS, leads the firm’s corporate transactions & international tax practice. He has more than 20 years of experience advising international corporate and fund clients in structuring and implementing multi-jurisdictional corporate, banking and financing, and investment transactions. Before founding Wolff & Partners in 2006, Jean-Claude worked as an attorney in the New York head office of a major international white shoe law firm, where he focused on international tax and fund structures, private equity investments and mergers and acquisitions. Jean-Claude is a graduate of New York University School of Law (LL.M., International Taxation, 2001), of ESCP-Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (Master in Finance, 2000) and of University of Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne (Master of business law & taxation, 2000). Jean-Claude is admitted as avocat à la Cour in Luxembourg (2003) and in Paris (2003), to the New York Bar (2002) and as solicitor, England and Wales (2003). Even tough Jean-Claude has an international background, he was born and raised in Luxembourg and remains deeply involved in the local culture and institutions.
