Jean-Claude Wolff is a Luxembourg citizen who graduated from the French business school ESCP (Paris) with a Masters in Finance before obtaining his law degree (with a specialization in business and tax law) from the Sorbonne University in Paris. He subsequently studied tax law at New York University, where he obtained an LL.M. in International Taxation and was admitted to the New York bar. In addition, he was admitted in 2003 to the Paris and Luxembourg bars and called to the roll of solicitors of England and Wales.

Having launched his career as a U.S. lawyer with a global top tier New York based law firm, Mr. Wolff focused on international tax structures. He gained substantial experience in private equity and M&A transactions as well as investment fund structuring before returning to Luxembourg in 2005, when he founded Wolff and Partners.

Mr. Wolff has lived in multiple European and American cities and speaks Luxembourgish, English, French, German and some Spanish. Prior to becoming a lawyer, he acquired some short term experience in industry and banking.
